Research

The overall aim of the initiative is to quantitatively describe the fundamental mechanics and fine-tuned modulation of cytoskeletal dynamics to understand the generation of movement within individual cells (including neurons) and during brain development. To achieve this goal, we bring together a unique set of competencies and skills spanning across physics, chemistry, and biology, developing new methodological and experimental strategies.
